£19,701- £20,094pa pro rata
 (£10.20 – £10.41 ph)
11 hours 35 minutes per week Tuesday-afternoon
 All day Thursday & Friday
Midday Supervisor:                 Grade 4
£18,564 – £18,750 pa pro rata (£9.62 – £9.71 ph)
3 hours per week 
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

 The Headteacher and Governing Body of Congerstone Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and flexible member of staff to join our thriving and growing village school.

As Teaching Assistant, you will join our dedicated and hardworking Keystage 2 team supporting with groups and general classroom tasks.

Our Teaching Assistants take on a full and active role in our school which means children are used to seeing them in a variety of different roles, as a result Support are well respected and very valued members of staff.

As Midday Supervisor you will be required to work as part of a team, taking responsibility for the health, safety and security of our children during the lunchtime period 12.15 – 1.15pm.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be patient, caring and show commitment.
  • Be able to develop a good understanding of children’s individual needs in order to support children’s progress in all areas.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work using their own initiative.
  • Be hardworking with good organisational skills.
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Be flexible and positive with a good sense of humour.
  • Have the highest expectations for all our children and their futures.

Previous experience of working in a school environment is essential.

 The Headteacher and Governing Body of Congerstone Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our Year 3 team in September 2021, to provide 1:1 SEN support.  You will work in partnership with another 1:1 Teaching Assistant, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to assist with teaching and learning.

Our Teaching Assistants take on a full and active role in our thriving and growing village school, which means children are used to seeing them in a variety of different roles.  As a result, Support Staff are well respected and very much valued members of staff.

This Midday Supervisor role will be focussed around the supervision of the child within the playground environment.  Ensuring free play and games are suitable and helping develop social relationships with peers.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to support the pupil inside and outside the classroom
  • Be patient, caring and show commitment.
  • Be able to develop a good understanding of children’s individual needs and to support their progress in all areas.
  • Have excellent communication abilities and be able to liaise with parents and other staff members.
  • Develop and maintain consistent approaches to classroom routines and procedures.
  • Have the ability to work using their own initiative.
  • Be hardworking with good organisational skills.
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Be flexible and positive with a good sense of humour.
  • Have the highest expectations for all our children and their futures.

 The Headteacher and Governing Body of Congerstone Primary School are seeking to appoint a fun, pro-active, creative and welcoming Co-Ordinator to manage our thriving before school club.

As Before School Co-Ordinator you will be required to provide high quality activities for pupils before the start of the normal school day, ensuring that children are engaged in appropriate activities, managing behaviour and ensuring a safe environment.  The applicant must be confident and willing to get involved in the children’s play.

The successful candidate will:
